The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of life, especially the economic aspect. Indonesia was also affected by the economic contraction, reaching 5.32 percent in the second quarter and 3.49 percent in the third quarter. Nevertheless, in the midst of a difficult year, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) or Jakpro remains committed to supporting the policies of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to build and develop the Capital area.
Throughout 2020, Jakpro has completed development project targets despite the limitations of the pandemic. As in the construction of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) which is located in Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta. Until the last week of December 2020, the progress of the realization of the JIS construction has reached 42.11%. Even though the target is 41.67% and has been inaugurated by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan last December 28, 2020.
Also, Jakpro implements the utilization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) docs to the application of BIM 4D to monitor the implementation of JIS.
In addition, Jakpro also succeeded in achieving the target for the Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) revitalization project. The realization as of December 27, TIM revitalization reached 54.33% of the planned target of 53.77%. Then, the Amir Hamzah Mosque in the TIM complex has been completely revitalized and inaugurated by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan on July 3, 2020 and the TIM Park Parking Building has been completed and is ready to be inaugurated early next year.
Furthermore, the Phase I LRT has entered the process of handing over the assets of the Jakarta LRT from Jakpro to its subsidiary PT LRT Jakarta (LRTJ). Meanwhile, for the Phase II LRT, this year has completed a feasibility study (FS) and a loopline LRT business study, as well as BED, AMDAL, AMDALIN documents, as well as investigations for routes 2A and 2B.
Jakpro also took the initiative to look for alternative funding sources and succeeded in narrowing the funding scheme into three scenarios and the preparation of the Project Charter Masterplan and Pre-development has been carried out.
In 2020, Jakpro has also completed the progress of several stages related to the Intermediate Waste Processing Facility (FPSA) or the Waste to Energy Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF) for the Western Service Area. Then, December 28, 2020, a strategic partner selection was held and the PBA signing was carried out between Jakpro, WIKA, and Indoplas.
This year, Jakpro has also worked on several stages of progress for the Kita Maju Bersama (KMB) Beach area. Such as signing the MoU with PT KNI, assignment to JUP, and completion of the contribution land master plan and business and PSU management.
